Hope Emilio pulls through! Tejanos are holding Prayer Vigils for him all over Tejas.
He was definitely the King of Tejano Music in the 90s while Selena was the Queen. He touched a chord in lots of Tejanos across generations- like Selena did.
Remember the Emilio and Raulito Shuffle? The dance they did? So cool.

I was in Houston when this happened. After enjoying some carne asada (o fajitas?) with my cousin's family, we watched the news. They all fell silent when the Emilio story came on.
Although I'm not familiar with his music, I hope he pulls through.
